Jim Young, Certified Cyber Risk Strategist

In his current role, Jim leads the development and management of strategic partnerships focused on reducing cyber risk, supporting compliance with evolving regulatory frameworks, and enhancing clients' preparedness for cyber liability coverage. His work bridges the gap between technical controls and business risk, helping clients navigate regulations such as the FTC Safeguards Rule, CMMC, and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework. Jim's guidance enables organizations to strengthen their security posture, improve operational maturity, and make informed decisions about cyber risk management.

As a Certified Cyber Risk Strategist and Certified Compliance Coordinator, Jim provides clients with preemptive, tailored insight into their infrastructure, policies, and threat exposure. His leadership plays a central role in aligning IT strategy with business objectives, while also fostering stronger insurer relationships and favorable outcomes in cyber liability planning.

Jim grew up in Upstate NY and, after two decades in the Metro West area of Boston, returned to his hometown on Lake George, NY. Outside of work, he enjoys cycling, golfing, boating, hiking, and spending time with his wife and two daughters.
