kevinm@tech-adv.com
After starting his career as a Certified Public Accountant, Kevin Martin found himself as the “designated technology expert” for the accounting firm for which he and twin brother Konrad both worked. This aptitude evolved into a significant career shift when Kevin and Konrad joined together to form Tech Advisors in 2002.
Kevin’s timing was perfect, as emerging technology was in the early stages of transforming not only the accounting field but virtually all other business segments as well. He has continued to stay a few steps ahead of the technology curve for clients, researching new products, designing new service programs, and managing Tech Advisors’ team of technicians and consultants.
Kevin lives in Medfield, MA with his wife Jennifer, their son Patrick, and daughter Anna. He is an avowed outdoorsman who enjoys camping, hiking, fishing and golf.

jimy@tech-adv.com
Jim Young joined the Tech Advisors team in 2021 to fill the important role of Client Relations Manager. One of his primary functions is to give our clients a primary point of contact to coordinate all non-technical needs and serving to streamline our overall communication and accessibility as an IT company. Another key role he fills is overseeing the ongoing “Technical Business Review” service for each client, which is a periodic comprehensive evaluation of each company’s security, compliance, hardware, and overall IT health. During these reviews, he works with the client to establish and maintain a series of operational and cyber safety standards based on their current IT needs and security posture. These reviews provide a critical, preemptive analysis of each client’s infrastructure and compliance, and allows us to better predict and prepare for any issues before they arise.
Prior to joining Tech Advisors, Jim owned and ran a successful and very client-centric business that provided the consultation, design, and installation of fitness centers in private country clubs around the area. He worked closely with the club management and memberships, providing exercise and therapy services, along with programming and staffing.
He studied at both Champlain College in Vermont and Northeastern University in Boston. His friends and colleagues describe him as a “people person,” making him a great fit for our team and our clients.

Prior to joining the Tech Advisors team in 2021, she was a Dell Field Service Technician, performing warranty repair work on laptops and desktops in the Boston area.
Catherine’s fascination with technology and repairing things dates back to her childhood days in Arizona. Her father brought home a computer and a book on programming, encouraging the kids to figure it out. Her mom always made sure that tools were on hand. So, at 5 years old, she grabbed the wrenches and took off the training wheels on her bike to go riding with the big kids–of course there were some skinned knees along the way.
After graduating from Barry University in Miami, with a B.S. in Chemistry, Catherine worked in the Quality Assurance lab at Althin Medical. Choosing to stay home while her children were young, she re-entered the workforce as an assistant in the Technology & Engineering classes at Dartmouth Middle School. Staying in the education space to accommodate her family’s schedule, she also completed a series of Cisco Network Academy courses, earning her CompTIA A+ certification.
During the pandemic Catherine volunteered at her church to setup a YouTube channel to livestream services for the community. She also works to keep their website up to date. Given the opportunity, she will learn to use just about any technology, especially if someone has an urgent need.
In her spare time, Catherine enjoys gardening and has a special appreciation for National Parks.
